I called yesterday about two sisters in Maine that I had seen on the website for over two years. I was saddened to learn that the agency had decided to split the girls up. They said that they thrive better apart than together. They were only accepting New England families for the girls.
If anyone out there reading this blog has any good adoption stories, I would love to hear them.
If you were adopted, if you adopted from the foster care system, adopted internationally, or worked in the system and saw some good outcomes I would love to hear your story. Please share it. You don't have to identify yourself or give a lot of details.
One thing I have learned through this process is that almost every adoption story comes from a long, hard road.
