Oh boy am I ever going to have my hands full with her...
Here are a few things I have learned in the last three weeks...
*Bedtime is harder once the clocks are turned ahead and it is still daylight out. Children seem to think you are lying to them when you say it is bedtime.
*A mother must have snacks and water on her at all times or else her child will melt away to nothing or die of thirst.
* A 6 year old can have more hair products than an adult.
* If you put music on, even doing chores can be fun.
* A child might be smaller than an adult, but they create two-three times more garbage.
*Even if you make your child go to the bathroom before going to the doctor’s, she will still have to go to the bathroom just when the doctor is ready to see her... and it will take a while...
* If you take your child to the doctor's, she will be very sick all day up until the time you actually go to the doctor's... at which time, she will be perfectly fine.
* No matter how awful a food item is if Dora the Explorer is on the front of the package, it will be the most desirable food item in the entire store. (Why don’t they have Dora the Explorer broccoli, spinach, etc… come on people… help a mother out…)
* Children don't know what it means to sleep in on the weekend. (6 AM comes really early on a Saturday.)
