Updates

I thought I would give you some updates since I haven't written in a while...

First it has been just over a week that I have been off all my migraine medicines. Yeah!!! Yesterday was the first day I didn't wake up with a migraine. Yep, as soon as I was off the meds... migraines every day. But I think my body was just adjusting and now I feel really good. Thank you for your prayers... I need them.

My dad is having a test tomorrow to examine his heart a little closer. The doctors are pretty confident that he is going to need open heart surgery to replace his aortic heart valve for the second time. He will get another mechanical valve. The doctors are just doing a few more tests to confirm the exact problem before going in for surgery. It is likely that his surgery will take place sometime this month... probably near the end of the month.

I have told my caseworker to not call me for any kids until March 1st. I will most likely need to extend that a week or two depending on my dad, but for now, that is where I left it.
