God Answers Prayers

I just found out that Ian has had a slight improvement. The neurologist reported that Ian has "gotten over the hump" (most people who die from brain damage die within the first 48 hours and Ian is now past that) and there are some hopeful signs.

Ian had moved his hands and his foot a few times and even pulled his face away from a touch on the cheek and even moved his head when someone made a loud sound in the room. His heartbeat had slowed down, which was also a good sign. And his eyes reacted to stimulation, which they hadn't been doing (another sign that the brain is shutting down).

So it appeared there was some new brain activity. Ian is still not out of the woods, but brain death is no longer imminent.

We serve an amazing God. An almighty, powerful God. NOTHING is too difficult for Him.
Please keep praying.

"For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed,
you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,'
and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you."
Matthew 17:20
“Ask, and it will be given to you;
seek, and you will find;
knock, and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives,
and the one who seeks finds,
and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
Or which one of you,
if his son asks him for bread,
will give him a stone?
Or if he asks for a fish,
will give him a serpent?
If you then, who are evil,
know how to give good gifts to your children,
how much more will your Father who is in heaven
give good things to those who ask him!
Matthew 7:7-11
