Needed a change...

When I was a kid my mother would spend hours measuring the furniture, making small scale drawings of rooms and then little cut-outs of furniture that was to size and move it around on that piece of paper for hours.

I remember watching her move a couch all the way across the room and a table to the other side of the room and then a chair to this corner all with the push of a finger (she was moving it on paper remember). The fun part was coming home from school the next day and seeing the real furniture moved. Every few months my mom wanted a change or was making more room or trying something different, and I would come home and the furniture was moved all around.

I loved it. I thought it was fun. Something different. (Poor mom probably hurt her back during all of those days of moving furniture around, but it did create some excitement.)

Well, my house is small and I think the current arrangement works best, so I am not going to move my furniture around, but wanted something different. So instead I changed my blog template... I know, I know, I really live life on the edge.
