Off the beaten path

I can't believe where some people live. I have gone to some houses that are in the middle of no where. I wonder if anyone ever visits them...

Anyway, I seized the opportunity to take some pictures. The roads were what stood out to me the most today. Many of the roads I could only go between 5 and 20 mph because they were so bumpy.

I lived in the city for almost two years. (Not big city, but certainly not country.) I love being in the country. There is nothing like it. (The only thing that is challenging is when you have to go to the bathroom and there is no civilization around.)

I find all the driving I do so relaxing. I don't see a lot of other cars on the road when I am driving out in the country. When I pass the houses everyone usually waves like they know who I am, even though I have never seen them before. I love country folk. They are so friendly.

I think what I like most about the country is that I can see God's creation so clearly. I was at a client's house tonight and when I left it was dark. Because I was WAY out in the country I could see the entire sky lit up with stars. There were so many. It was beautiful.

I love the 3rd and 6th picture. They are keepers. It is a miracle that you find your way out. How does Charlie know all these roads? You should try taking a picture of the night sky (but don't get out of the car!)

Anonymous (I know who you are) you crack me up...
There are only 4 pictures. So which picture is the 6th picture? ha ha

(For those of you who don't know who Charlie is, he is my GPS system. I have affectionately named him Charlie.)
