I know, I need to get to bed. I was about to sign off when I heard one of my favorite sounds... a train. I don't know what my fascination is with trains. I almost get giddy when I hear one coming. (Ok, I do get giddy...) I am glad to live so close to the tracks so that I can hear it several times a day.
Sometimes I am in town and a train goes through, and I have to just stop everything I am doing and watch it. I can't help myself. I love to wave to the engineer.
I don't understand why I love them so much, but it is one thing I love about the small town I live in.
The sound of the click-a-ty-clack, click-a-ty-clack, and the whistle... Maybe I should get a tape of train sounds to listen to as I fall asleep?
I bet none of you ever knew I was this weird....

I never heard that kind of train before. I heard ones that went...clickity click....clickity click. Sounds interesting!
